Ijazah means: a connected chain of narration of the
Quran reaching the prophet ( صلى الله عليه وسلم) - called Sanad/Isnaad
سند/ إسناد - transferred to us by our teachers.
Guiding the teachers, as well as students, of Qurʾān
through their journey of obtaining Ijāzah in their studies
of the Qurʾān. The types of Ijāzah covered in this book
are in the following fields:
- Tilāwah (recitation)
- Memorization
- Qirʾāt (different modes of recitation)
